Intro Clip/Music: Should be no more than 7 to 10 seconds. You can use software like Garage Band or find license free music on the Internet. You will need a ‘mixer’ or software that allows you to mix in your vocal portions and fade your music. Again, Garage Band is great for that.
Vocal Intro: 15 – 18 seconds. This is your standard introduction that you will use for every podcast or radio show. You may want to have this done by someone else to lend the announcer feel to your podcast or radio show. Make sure this intro highlights you, your business, or your expertise. Example: Hello, welcome to another edition of the Entrepreneur Podcast with your host, Mr. Really Cool Expert and co-host Ms. Super Cool Business Partner. This podcast highlights tips and tricks entrepreneurs can use to grow their business. For more information on this episode and to learn more visit us at http://www.supercoolthings.com.
